Factories

Bankeryd, Sweden

We have produced brushes and painting tools in Bankeryd since 1946. The current factory was built 1973 and here we use the experience gathered over many years, on a daily basis. Every year we produce roughly 30 million painting tools in Bankeryd, and the goal is always to launch new and innovative products that both surprise and facilitate users. In addition to the factory organization, you will also find our development department. Here we are constantly testing and developing new bristle blends, better roller fabrics, easier-to-grip handles, and completely new painting tools. You can also find our logistic centre here, where we distribute tools for most of our markets.

Bromsgrove, England

Welcome to Orkla House Care UK, set in 60 acres of land in the heart of the West Midlands, Stoke Prior since 1947 with roots stretching back over 250 years. We are the leading UK producer of quality branded painting and decorating tools. We produce painting tools for our hero brands Hamilton and Harris, which can be found in retailers, trade counters and online all over the country. Orkla House Care UK is more than just a place of industry; it’s a testament to our passion for perfection.

Zhaoqing, China

In Zhaoqing City, China, our factory has been home to high-quality painting tools since 2002. Here, on our 30,000 square meter facility, which includes a spacious 22,000 square meter production and warehouse area, we specialize in manufacturing painting tools. Our range includes everything from brushes to rollers and filling knifes, catering to both passionate DIY enthusiasts and professional painters.

Orkla House Care's head office is located on Skøyen in Oslo, this is also where all the other Orkla companies' head offices are. At the head office you will find the Norwegian commercial organisation with sales and marketing and several group functions such as Finance, HR, Quality, IT, Supply Chain, Marketing&Innovation and Sustainability. Orkla House Care is located on the 3rd floor of the office building, and also has a Competence Center in Drammensveien 151 (building behind) for training and testing purposes.

Bankeryd, Sweden

Our Bankeryd office next to the factory houses representatives for finance, HR, strategic purchasing, development, and customer service. Our Training Center is situated near by the office and the factory in Bankeryd. Here education activities are constantly taking place such as training of store staff, students, and painters but also customer meetings and meetings with other relevant partners in the industry. Training Center is also the workplace for our Swedish commercial organization and the marketing department for national and international markets.

Vallensbæk Strand, Denmark

Our Danish back-office functions are located at our 3rd floor office in Vallensbæk Strand. We share the floor with our sister company Orkla Care, whilst Orkla Foods is located on the 4th floor. The environment is open with a mix of free-seating, home bases, and shared spaces for both formal and informal meetings. The Danish back-office team consist of employees mainly within sales, but also marketing and finance function.

Wommelgem, Belgium

Our head office in the Benelux is located in Wommelgem, nearby Antwerp, where we share offices with our 3PL service provider PGZ International/Feeder One. Our OHC Benelux NV offices are on the first floor housing our finance, marketing and sales department. In the Netherlands we also have office space in Papendrecht, where we co-house with our Orkla colleagues from Sonneveld.
